HP Slate 7 marks HP's return to the consumer tablet market. It is a low cost 7-inch tablet running the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). HP has already built a couple of Windows tablets like the hybrid HP Envy X2 and HP Elitebook Revolve and the HP Elitepad, but they are mostly targeted at business and also pricey. HP Slate 7 shows HP has not completely lost hope on the consumer mobile market.

Cheap Android Tablet from HP
HP Slate 7 is not the first low cost tablet from HP. The HP TouchPad based on the WebOS was the first but never stood no chance because HP withdrew support for the device even before it came to the market. This time HP is going for the Android OS with Jelly Bean (Android 4.1).HP Slate 7 will offer a smooth experience with a 1.6GHz dual-core ARM A9 processor and 1GB RAM. For your internet experience, the HP Slate 7 offers Wi-Fi. HP ePrint is also baked into the device to enable you print documents wirelessly over Wi-Fi. The tablet will also deliver top quality sound, thanks to Beats Audio.
The Slate 7 also comes with a full suite of Google services like Google Now, Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive and Google+ Hangouts.
