Most objective analysts agree that BlackBerry 10 is a good, modern, and innovative OS. The question has always been, is it too late for BlackBerry? Can BlackBerry build a compelling platform around BlackBerry 10 to draw new smartphone buyers and even win market from established smartphone platforms?
BlackBerry showed some of the 70,000 Apps available at the BlackBerry World. Most of the big names are there but a few are missing. Already available at the BlackBerry World for BlackBerry 10 devices are popular apps like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Foursquare, Skype, Whatsapp, Kindle, Evernote, Dropbox, Angry Birds, etc.
Notably absent at the BlackBerry World are Netflix and Instagram. However, BlackBerry says it is working with Netflix and Instagram to bring the apps to the BlackBerry platform.
To excite consumers even further, the BlackBerry World will be offering movies, music, and TV shows. Users can purchase movies, music, and their favourite TV shows in supported countries.
BlackBerry has a good enough OS to attract new and existing smartphone users. And with most of the popular and important apps already at the BlackBerry World Store, there will be market for BlackBerry 10 phones. However, challenging the market leaders will take time and probably a few missteps by current market leaders.

Ahead of the launch of the BlackBerry 10 OS, RIM (now BlackBerry) renamed its official store the BlackBerry App World to the BlackBerry World and transforms it into the one stop store for content for BlackBerry phones and tablets. Users can download music, movies, games, TV shows, and apps at the BlackBerry World. Content will be available free or for a fee.
Top Apps Available
BlackBerry now boasts of about 70,000 BlackBerry 10 Apps at the BlackBerry World Store. This includes some of the most popular apps like Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Foursquare, Skype, Evernote, and Dropbox. With some of these big names and others among the 70,000 some users may already have more apps than they need available in the BlackBerry World Store.
Popular Games like Angry Bird and Mortal Combat 4 are already available at the BlackBerry World Store.
Music, Movies, TV Show Purchase in Select Markets
Some content on BlackBerry World Store will be free and available in all countries. Such content can be downloaded by any user with a BlackBerry phone. However, only users in select markets will be able to buy and download music, movies, and TV shows that require payment. For now only the United States and Canada are certain.

The Camera on the BlackBerry Z10 is equally impressive. It is an 8 megapixels camera with full HD video (1080p) recording. The camera features the usual bells and whistles like LED flash, auto-focus, image stabilisation, geo-tagging, and face detection.
Perhaps the unique feature of the camera on the BlackBerry Z10 is the Time Shift, a feature that captures several shots a few milliseconds before and after you shoot a photo, allowing you to shift your photo in time to select the perfect photo. Pricing and Availability
BlackBerry Z10 will be available in the UK on January 31, 2013. The phone is expected in the Middle East and Canada in February and consumers in the United States will be getting the BlackBerry Z10 in mid-March. Availability for Nigeria and Africa has not been confirmed.
The BlackBerry Z10 price cannot be confirmed. However, based on the price it is expected to launch in the UAE, the price of the BlackBerry Z10 will be around N110,000 in Nigeria.
